Matrix and Matrix Regulation

چکیده
The life of a higher, multicellular organism is essentially bound up with the triad represented by capillaries, extracellular matrix or ground substance, and cells. A cell is capable of functioning only in its surrounding milieu: the structured extracellular space. Contrary to views of cellular pathology which currently predominate, it is not conceptually feasible to artificially separate cellular functions from their surrounding environment. Wherever this may be attempted, the cell becomes an abstraction, a model. And in cases in which actual patients are involved, such an unnatural approach divorces their illnesses from their individuality and, in the final analysis, enables therapy of only the model of an illness. The results of this unfortunate outlook have become especially apparent in futile attempts currently widespread in the therapy of tumors and chronic diseases. Every cell is intimately linked to its extracellular space. The extracellular space alone enables metabolic processes to reach the cell, and only as a result of such conditions can the genetic material in the cell nucleus become active. The extracellular space provides a molecular sieve between cell and associated capillaries (blood and lymph capillaries). The substances which structure the extracellular matrix form a network of high-polymer sugar complexes: sugars bonded to proteins — the proteoglycans (PGs), as well as sugars not bonded to proteins — the glycosaminoglycans (GAGs).

متن کاملCD147 (Extracellular Matrix Metalloproteinase Inducer-EMMPRIN) Expression by Human Articular Chondrocytes
Background: Integrins are a family of transmembrane proteins that allow communication between the extracellular matrix and the interior of cells. Chondrocytes, cells of articular cartilage, express integrins and these molecules appear to have a variety of roles including mechanotransduction. Integrins are known to associate with a number of accessory molecules such as CD147 that may act to regu...
متن کاملMATRIX VALUATION PSEUDO RING (MVPR) AND AN EXTENSION THEOREM OF MATRIX VALUATION
Let R be a ring and V be a matrix valuation on R. It is shown that, there exists a correspondence between matrix valuations on R and some special subsets ?(MVPR) of the set of all square matrices over R, analogous to the correspondence between invariant valuation rings and abelian valuation functions on a division ring. Furthermore, based on Malcolmson’s localization, an alternative proof for t...
متن کاملArens Regularity and Weak Amenability of Certain Matrix Algebras
Motivated by an Arens regularity problem, we introduce the concepts of matrix Banach space and matrix Banach algebra. The notion of matrix normed space in the sense of Ruan is a special case of our matrix normed system. A matrix Banach algebra is a matrix Banach space with a completely contractive multiplication. We study the structure of matrix Banach spaces and matrix Banach algebras. Then we...
متن کاملOn the nil-clean matrix over a UFD
In this paper we characterize all $2times 2$ idempotent and nilpotent matrices over an integral domain and then we characterize all $2times 2$ strongly nil-clean matrices over a PID. Also, we determine when a $2times 2$ matrix over a UFD is nil-clean.
متن کاملFinite iterative methods for solving systems of linear matrix equations over reflexive and anti-reflexive matrices
A matrix $Pintextmd{C}^{ntimes n}$ is called a generalized reflection matrix if $P^{H}=P$ and $P^{2}=I$. An $ntimes n$ complex matrix $A$ is said to be a reflexive (anti-reflexive) matrix with respect to the generalized reflection matrix $P$ if $A=PAP$ ($A=-PAP$). In this paper, we introduce two iterative methods for solving the pair of matrix equations $AXB=C$ and $DXE=F$ over reflexiv...
